Hi,

I bought a bathroom mat yesterday at Tesco, seems to be made of plastic.

It's brand new and has a very strong plastic/rubber smell.

Is this normal?

Does the smell go away eventually?

Is it safe to smell it? It's quite strong that I can even smell it somewhat in my bedroom (it's in my bedroom's bathroom).

I would think it's quite normal. New plastic often smells strongly. There's nothing like a toilet to make everything smell different. :o
