Hi guys,

I'm from the UK and I will be returning there next month on a direct flight from BKK. I have no plans to return to Thailand any time soon. Do I need travel insurance to leave Thailand? From my research, I don't think I do, but I just want to be 100% sure.

Thank you in advance for any info.

No, unless you want to be covered for flight cancellation, lost luggage, etc, though it's not mandatory. Also bear in mind you will have to have a PCR test and if that returns positive you could be stuck there longer than planned.

Thank you for your reply and info. Yeah I know about the PCR test. I will staying home and staying safe as much as possible before I leave. Hopefully I will get a negative result when I have my test ????
