In my opinion, you really can't win - with Thai women or any women.

 

The Thai-Chinese educated ones from good families are just as troublesome as the Issan farm girls.

 

Women are weak-minded and slaves to their fantasies and will always be on the lookout for upgrades.

 

So, my advice is enjoy them whilst always expecting they won't be around if something else catches their fancy.

In a country with a suspect higher education system, requiring a degree as a qualification to be a wife seems naive.  Unless the ability to skillfully blow the lecturer to get an exam pass was what the OP had in mind?

The OP list is mostly describing hiso wantabees.

I have met them in Bangkok every last one of them had huge debt.

And, the more westernized the potential for bad attitudes.  They can fake it for awhile.

Better finding a down to earth girl in Issan that is open and appreciates you I think they make much better long time partners.

Of all the people I have met in my life, she is my right hand man, she has made me the happiest I have ever been in the 15 years we have been married.

 

Only if all prostitutes, a word I detest, but will say it, were like her, the world would be a better place and maybe, just maybe the Rob Muirs of the world could also be happy, but I doubt that.

 

Each to their own, never was into women with an education or money, albeit it I had many opportunities but the chemistry wasn't there, I prefer to be with someone who is just themselves and who appreciated life for what it is.

 

We all have a past and those who beat their chests and put others down because they think their %hit don't stink, aren't worthy of even talking about and I wish them all the misery in their search for love, because when it comes knocking on your door, the last person you would think you would hook up, could be a prostitute, God forbid...lol

I think it's always good to have an open mind. Many of us think they have a clear idea about what they want, including, or maybe even especially, when they go out for a night of fun.

Many think they want the best looking girls. Really? Sometime I look at the websites of bars which show absolutely stunning girls. And then I visit those bars and at least some of those stunning girls are on stage in front of me. And I could buy them a drink and more. But do I do that? Seldom! Because often there are other girls were one look is enough to know: I want her. Could I explain why? In some cases probably yes. But often it would be hard to explain. I just got the idea that I am interested in this girl and not that one.

And I think that is what we should keep in mind: Forget about all those criteria which we can make up what we want and what we like and what we don't want.

Relax, get inspired, and look what happens. Don't try to fixate on criteria which are hard to define. Let it happen and enjoy.

I did not really look ,i just met my wife while working in BKK ,at the time we had just got rid of the woman who did the computer work in the office (not many Thais could use a computer 25 yrs ago) ,her sister owned a large restaurant complex and had a stage where they had music and comedians ,my wife operated the computer for the place ,as i had spoken to her before asked her could she help in our office until we got a new girl 

.Long and short we started dating ,her family are not rich but not badly off ,all of them are lovely ,even her young brother who is always broke and begging for money.

we have lived in the UK and my family think the world of her ,and i think the feeling is mutual her family treat me as one of them 

i must admit its nice to have an inteligent wife and a son who has turned out the same,
