Eateries in Red Zones to ask CCSA to increase dine-in seating to 50-75% of capacity

Operators of eateries in the four Red Zone provinces, including Bangkok, will propose that the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) further ease dine-in restrictions, by allowing them occupy 50-75% of their seating capacity, up from the current 25% limit.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's manufacturing production index (MPI) in April rose for a second straight month and at the fastest pace in more than eight years, partially due to coming off a low base last year, the industry ministry said on Monday.

Chiang Mai Central Prison attains herd immunity

CHIANG MAI (NNT) - Authorities have implemented a ’bubble and seal’ measure to help limit the spread of COVID-19 at Chiang Mai Central Prison in Chiang Mai province. The facility has now achieved herd immunity, with 95 percent of the inmates now immune to the virus. The Department of Corrections is to supervise the prison as usual.
