Banglamung – People in Pattaya and Banglamung received a second injection of Covid -19 Sinovac vaccines today (June 3rd) at a total of 20,000 doses allocated according to Pattaya City officials and the Chonburi Department of Public Health.

The Covid -19 second injection vaccination campaign started today (June 3rd) at the Eastern Indoor Athletics Stadium for people who had already registered and had already received the first injection. It was not a “walk-in” registration and, for the most part, was Thai nationals only in specific groups according to the Chonburi Public Health Department.

The main site for the second injection was the Eastern Indoor Athletics Stadium as seen in the photos, although four smaller injection sites were also utilized according to officials such as the Pong municipality and some doses were reportedly being brought specifically to pre-registered groups that could not get to designated vaccination centers such as the disabled or vulnerable.

Mrs. Paradee Waksopa the Banglamung Administrative Chief Officer told The Pattaya News, “Most people who have received the vaccine this morning are teachers, first responders, and police officers who were registered previously due to being in “high-risk” groups for contact with many people and the public.”

Vaccine centres are going to become the next superspreaders after prisons factories and markets as officialdom seem incapable of a) sourcing vaccines and b) vaccinating without creating a mob

I have seen recent footage of long queues of people waiting to be jabbed in the UK. Not too different to here, in my view.

this is lunacy piling all these people indoors

Correct.

An infected person who is asymptomatic passes it on to someone else who is also awaiting vaccination.

That person becomes infected in the window period before the vaccine becomes effective.  In that window period, the person is in close contact with friends, family, customers etc, who are not vaccinated, and will not be vaccinated in the near future, and the cycle continues.

It is not the feedback I get, it sounds efficient and organized and complies with safety recommendations.

Perhaps the UK should follow Thailand's safety recommendations, after all, Thailand is going to vaccinate the whole country before October.  ????

What silliness.... UK is about 65,000,000 vaccinations ahead of Thailand and that is not exactly a position to follow  them.

They would have to vaccinate around 375,000 people a day, right up to the 1st October, and that's just for the first dose.

We will soon find out their vaccination rate capabilities.
