It's not because you can read Shakespeare you can cook.... What's wrong with insects ( future world food ) and rats???

It was Bro Nanaplazaetc who looked down on eating insects.

You obviously have an eclectic and adventurous diet, congratulations.

I vary between pad Thai and pie and chips.

All the businesses that weren't necessary are closed, that's a good thing.

Fewer statements were ever uttered, that were less subjective than this one. Not to mention incredibly cold and unsympathetic.

Thousands of businesses that many of us loved and patronized have closed. Many run by really good, hard working people and families. And millions of lives have been devastated.

Well there is that of course. The other side of the coin is that it has allowed the local authority to carry out repairs, maintenance and improvements. And there have been some reductions in rent, massage and bar prices.

There is no question that some sort of re-set was needed. But this? A bit of an extreme scenario! Not sure about the authorities doing anything they are supposed to do. Not in their DNA.

This will likely be beneficial for many ex-pats. Lower rents, eventually far lower condo prices, easier to travel, we are more welcome than usual, and cheaper hotels.

For those who are single, no question that the women have gained some perspective, and find the customers and their cash to be far more desirable than before!
