Stargeezr Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 No helmet on the child either, by the looks of it. Safety last in Thailand. Geezer

It might be shocking to newbies but no big deal here in Thailand. >20 years living here.... the extreme levels of stupidity surprise me less than they used to. However, this extent of disregard for the safety of ones child is a shocking example of outrageous stupidity.... This one is surprising and shocking and I’m by no means a newbie. Sadly, when viewing such videos it becomes apparent that the occurrence of a tragic event is only a matter of time save for a great deal of luck, I hope luck wins, the poor child is too young to have any concept of self preservation and safety.

Mario666 Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Not sure why this is even newsworthy in Thailand. As Tom Jones might say, "It's not unusual"! 1
Mai mee Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Seriously, do you guys live in caves somewhere? This is Thailand. 1

Kwaibill Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Establish and/or enforce helmet laws. Farangs overburdening the medical system is, I think, baloney. Preventable road carnage is far more of a problem I expect. What is likely to cost more, a tourist who breaks a leg, or some idiot driving the wrong way on a motorbike and no helmet who now needs lifetime care for head trauma?
