100k $ Covid insurance

Featured Replies

A friend of mine who is in his mid 70's will exit Thailand and return in October but he is worried he won't find an insurance provider who will cover the compulsary Covid isnurance due to advanced age and poor health. Are there any options available to him?

Most who buy these policies aren't aware they are useless in practise. Reason being you MUST declare all pre exisiting conditions. Most don't even give you the option to put in these exisiting conditions.

So when it comes time to claim, they will cite your medical history and refuse a claim on the basis you didn't declare something.

My friend requires this insurance just for entry purposes and don't require an actual pay-out.

the $100,000.00 covid insurance for entry  is different then the

insurance you need for immigration to renew a o-a extension.

I used AXA Thailand, his only option is to go on there website and ask them directly.
