Miracle with no local infections

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah highlights that Brunei Darussalam is truly confident and patient in using the divine vaccine in facing the pandemic. 

 

Because of this, His Majesty adds, the country has never stopped reciting the zikir and supplicating.

 

His Majesty is also confident what is happening to the country which has enjoyed the miracle of more than a year without local infection, is due to being close to Allah. 

 

His Majesty stresses this in the Titah in conjunction with Hari Raya 'Idil Adha of 1442 Hijrah/2021 which was broadcast to the nation earlier in the evening.

 

Touching on the takbir and tahmid, His Majesty says there is no doubt that hearing the takbir strengthens the spirit.

 

Sultan of Brunei recently Celebrated his 75th birthday

 

His Majesty who was born on July 15th, 1946, recently celebrated his 75th birthday.

 

He is the eldest son of Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III and Raja Isteri (Queen) Pengiran Anak Damit.

 

As such, he became Crown Prince in 1961 and succeeded to the throne as the Sultan of Brunei, following the abdication of his father on October 5th, 1967. His Majesty the Sultan was crowned on 1st August 1968 in pomp and pageantry befitting Brunei's ancient customs and traditions.

 

He is the 29th Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Brunei in an almost unbroken lineage that dates back to the 14th century. He is also the Prime Minister of Brunei, which makes him one of the few absolute monarchs.
