Before I was vaccinated yesterday, 28 July, I researched a little on some "do's and don'ts".

Before:

Get advice from your Doctor as what underlying conditions you have that may interfere with the vaccination process and efficacy

Keep your appointment; the vaccine allocated to you will be lost to you and others if you don't turn up or refuse the vaccine offered

Stay hydrated and this seems to mean that at least a litre or more of water is needed for the day before, and yet more, if strenuous exercised.

After:

Relax

No strenuous exercise for two or three days

Stay with a routine of continuous hydration

Get as much sleep as possible.

Healthy eating; forever would be good, but try for a few days

Alcohol:

There is no definitive science that says one thing or another but I would suggest that at least the day before, avoid alcohol altogether. In any event, no alcohol, helps towards better hydration.

After vaccination, my decision is to avoid 100% for at least three days

Coffee, I simply decided for one day before, not to drink my usual 2 cups.

If all I have done here is alerted you to something, I am happy, but suggest that you check for yourselves to be reassured.

As of 24 hours later, I have no side affects of any kind.

One still has to wear one's mask, maintain social distancing and observe any other protocols in force - the vaccine hasn't made you immune!

Good luck to all at this time.
