You can't do a bank transfer on your phone app?

I know other foreigners who don't have (applied for) internet access.

One guy paying his 3BB internet at the shop, driving to water works, driving to PEA.

If you have too much time at hand...

I feel for the poster.

Up here on a weekday afternoon, Bangkok Bank and SCB deserted, 2 or 3 customers. Only the usual suspect KTB somehwhat crowded.

All phone apps now.

You can use an app without having applied for internet banking at your bank?

Really?

I use app or PC alternating.

I studied the description of Bangkok Bank app and there are indeed different ways to apply/install mobile banking.

As I was a "Bualuang iBanking customer" beforehand is was simple:

Download and log in with your existing Bualuang iBanking User ID and password

Then a lady about 5-6 ahead of me failed the temperature test.....They would not let her in the bank.....They took her off to the side and started taking all her information (to give all her info to  god only knows who).......

I sure as heck won't be giving "my" information to any of these "not a foreigner" people. Not really sure who in GOD's name they "think" they are, but not going to happen...

Yep phone APP is the way to go.

Our small bank is always crowded too, and once a year the wife goes to pay an annual insurance premium. She does not have Internet or apps as she is not tech savvy enough. This was due this week so to avoid a trip I dug out last years bill and scanned the QR code, up popped her details, policy number, bank details etc. Fill in the amount and transfer. Job done.

If the OP is not able to use phone app, why not pay a trusted Thai to go for you if the bank allows?

In the bank, remove your glasses and adjust the distance of whatever you are doing so that you can see. Further or closer usually does it.

There is always a solution if you choose to not wear blinkers.

I have tried that thank you.

However the print was so small I would have needed a magnifying glass as well.

She put 2 crosses on the form but didn't tell me what the second one was for. (My mobile number).
