Does anyone know if a USA life insurance company would payout a death benefit via Bangkok Bank branch of New York then funds transferred via Thailand? How do life insurance company's send out payment? I am wondering for my wife and family because in the future that I might not be around and hoping the insurance company does not put a stamp on an envelope and hope it gets there with no sort of tracking?

Why don't you contact the insurance company and pre-arrange details. Certainly you should have an executor named in your will. Make clear your instructions to the executor and this will be taken care of.
