I get more smiles from pretty girls when I wear the mask as they don't realize how hideous I really am...but i do have nice eyes

How do you know they are smiling at you? You should report them.

Yoga teachers could easily mean they are being trained as yoga teachers.

Anyway, Koh Phangan and all these hippy dippy, new age spiritualists, vegan, wannabes getting all close to nature and tuning into the universal vibe, are sure clueless as hell when it comes to getting a read on the law of the land and mandated requirements in public and social settings. Ooooohhhhhmmmmmm

We all know that wearing a mask is socially responsible in places with many people wether we think it does any good or not. But wearing one riding round lake Maprachan on a push bike is a bit much. What’s next wearing masks to have sex?.

Quarantine them!  Make them pay ridiculous hotel rates!  Charge them farang scale prices!  Accuse them of damaging the boat!  Make sure they're clean too, you know those "dirty farang."  And when that's finished get around to hunting down "The Boss" for the hit-and-run death of a policeman in 2012.

Yup it's already been recommended that people wear masks when having sex. Discussed at length on one of the posts in Asean Now

The problem is really not the masks. It is coming to Thailand while flaunting their privilege e disrespecting the local sensibilities of their host Nation. They should be fined.

Nobody likes wearing a mask, but if that's the law, then just cuz YOU don't like it is no reason not to obey. Pure hubris.

I have a solution to appease all the forum members here ..... "Hang em high".  Hideous foreigners.  And they are the dirty backpacker types too.  Along with the man buns.  We have to hang them.  No other reasonable option.  ???? The silly buggers.

This promoted a flurry of negative comments about the group not caring about Thai society or the fact that the island is in the grip of the pandemic that is sweeping Thailand.

Oh really, Thai society should be more concerned about the irresponsibility of "their Government " in regards their utter lack of care for the Thai people over the current infection rate and supply of vaccines. So a small group of people werent wearing masks. What is the military government guilty of?

They’re guilty of loving their country too much, after all, the PM himself forfeited a few month’s salary to show just how much he truly cares!

Erm - a lot of 'Thai society' are more concerned. That is why they are in gaol.

Demonstrators, 'influencers', reporters, average people who speak out etc etc.
