I concur with the article's author. Another winner of the Darwin Award, covid edition. HoHum. Culling the herd by getting rid of the stupid. And the anti-vaxers were thinking that culling the herd got rid of the old and infirm.

Guy already has 2 young children ....... therefore no Darwin award.

Hundreds of people like this. Not very smart.

Phil Valentine, radio host who regretted vaccine skepticism, dies of Covid-19

"I know if he were able to tell you this, he would tell you, 'Go get vaccinated,'" said Phil Valentine's brother, Mark Valentine.

"The Darwin Awards salute the improvement of the human genome by honoring those who accidentally remove themselves from it in a spectacular manner!"

He has produced progeny, but he has removed himself from further contributions.

I think he is deserving.

It is so rare that they made a news article out of it, and yet even this guy had a pre-existing condition as evidenced by his blood pressure.

You are not going to convince anyone to get the jab who refused it up to this point.

The jabs don't stop Covid, they don't stop transmission, they don't stop serious illness from Covid, and they require boosters every few months supposedly to be effective.

If you want a permanent QR code control grid, with check points everywhere, good luck to you. That isn't for me.

I can't think of anything dumber than these people who are playing russian roulette with their life and health, and of those around them, by refusing to get the vaccine.  Some even going as far as paying for a fake vaccine certificate that they could have gotten for free.

The vaccine doesn't stop the person being infected or spreading the disease.

Supposedly it reduces the risk of serious health problems.

Therefore, the unvaccinated are only risking their own health, not the health of vaccinated people.

Sadly your right.

But in the US where they've made vaccination compulsory at some colleges vaccinations soared to 95%.

As time goes by, compulsory vaccinations will be required.

There still will be the antivaxers but they will be regulated to staying in there mothers basement.

That does not consider things like overwhelmed hospitals which causes problems such as critical surgeries that have to be delayed.

By those around you I was thinking of kids under 12 who can't get vaccinated yet.   Like this 3 yo girl.  If you don't want to get vaccinated for yourself get it for them.

Come on. Your know better than this.

Sadly, vaccinated people are being infected, primarily by those refusing the jab. And some get very sick, and some die. Shame on the anti vaxxers for endangering others.

The jabs are our only way outof this mess. The unvaccinated are ruining our ability to get back to normal.

Ok so you didn't read the article.

Not a news article about this guy, an MD saying that she can no longer have compassion for people who didn't get the jab and are now dying.  The reason she can no longer have compassion for them is that there are so many of them.
