it wasn't a case of 'letting it (the virus) in', many older people died a) because boris was reluctant to lockdown because of the damage to the economy - as stated by dominic cummings, and b) due to the actions of, inept, matt hancock who was too obsessed with statistics, and his ego, to care what happened when he turfed the elderly out of hospitals and into care homes

Qantas Group have said they won't fly to Swampy or Sandy Box until at least April 2022.

Presumably, no worse variants happen, by then, and the "authorities" discover digital ways to do bureaucratic things like sane functional 21st Century societies.
