At no time will I be hiding in my cave waiting for the government to protect me. Popular Post Jimmy Goodwood
Yes, nobody needs to hide in their home. Not sure how long it will take for people to figure out that this is just a bad Flu season. Hyped up with all those videos of people keeling over in the streets of Wuhan last year. All a big misinformation campaign to get the non critical thinkers to follow orders. And if you don't believe that, then why does the Medical & Media industries, do everything they can, to hide the 3 medicines that treat the Flu and stop it in it's tracks. If you can answer that question with a valid reason, then hats off to you. And if you don't know what they are, then you really must have been hiding in your home since this all started. 2 2 1

Staff will also not have to take ATK tests every 7 days. Stick-Carrot. So translated: After September 30 the power-junkies will come out of their bureaucratic closets and mandate draconian measured including vaccine passports and antigen testing of restaurant staff. Let restaurants open and get a running start before slapping them back down and stamping the life out of them one more time. My guess is the day they think 50% of the population has had two shots they will go full-draconian. However, I think it's doubtful that come October 1 that Thailand will be anywhere near 50% of the population getting even their first shot.

Absolutely wrong; you have no idea where the bilk of cases emanate from. There was no discernible rise in cases last time restaurants were fully operational. In my area I was eating (and drinking) in restaurants/quasi bars with restaurant licenses throughout March to July........ no Covid cases were reported. YOU don't have to go out - it is not compulsory, stay at home and hunker down and don't forget to wear your foil hat. Life needs to find a level of normality and this, along with initiatives like the Phuket Sandbox are logical steps in that process.
johnarth
the news media is finally losing its grip on this corvid bs but it has taken a year and a half better late than never, but the worst is yet to come the herd nurds will take a lot of retraining, now the rush to mars can slow down, give them time to find out if the van Allen belt really will kill any human that tries to go through it, might be back to the rats and mice for a check first 1

To be fair there was a sharp rise in covid cases mid-July after the delta variant had taken sometime to get a foothold (mid-May onwards). Prior to that I assume the alpha variant was kept at bay by the steps introduced and we got away with it. It is certainly a huge risk the government are taking in health terms (ignoring the economic and other problems). There is no going back now, less than 10% fully vaccinated and the delta variant well and truly installed.
