Strange to me to get such a bad rating. I always fly Quantas in preference to BA from BKK/UK/BKK. Always find BA staff so arrogant and the standard of cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired, especially the last 10 years, compared with Quantas. It must be a problem though judging from the reports in the other classes but I only fly 1st so for me compared to other airlines ( BA and Thai ) I find them far superior. I also consider that the aggrevation factor of changing planes should be considered should you choose a non-direct flight.

Your post rather suggests that you have never been in First class. I have, on points.

No company would pay even biz if it is less than 10 hours flight. Sydney - Tokyo is 9:50- economy.

Finally, the airline's name is Qantas, not "Quantas".

I,ve met many horrible South Africans also. But I guess its not their fault.

You can complain about Assuie Immigration all you like but the UK Immigration I experieced at Manchester a few years ago was really sad.

My wife(Thai) and our daughter (Brit) were asked that if they really my family!

This is after being kept 1 hour in the plane due to an industrial dispute,,,some of the passegers came tfrom NZ and had spent the best part of 20 hrs on the plane.

By the way ,,,,,,,,,Manchester airport looked a war zone.
