Dental Pricing

For the past few years I have used a dental clinic just off On Nut.  Modern, very big (7 stories) and quality work, though they seem a bit pricey (I could be wrong).

 

Composite white filling: 2000-2400 baht

Cleaning 1800 baht

Crown 20,000 baht (yes, much cheaper than the States, but...)

 

Need to replace some older crowns and need a bridge, too.

 

Anyone have recommendations for a good dentist in BKK that with better pricing?

I use what I think is the same place.

 

A while back I too needed to have  crown replaced and I set about pricing other places.

What I found was that places that at first glance seemed less expensive, often weren't because of the way the prices were listed...for example one place said 15,000 for the crown but that turned out to not include the dentist visit/time (it qas only the crown, not the installation of the crown). And all the places  insisted on a separate initial dental consultation which of course was not necessarey at the place which had my records and had already recommended the crown be replaced.

 

Long story short, it turned out to not make sense to change. at most would have saved a few hundred baht.

I actually like the place. So guess I'll move forward.
