starting at 10,000 baht per month for me, but then again, the 10,000 baht per month covers me for 40,000,000 baht, so best I shut up.....pay for what you expect....no public hospitals for me, I'm special ????

You not the special one I AM   I PAY 14,183 BHAT PER MONTH   Come on guys I am sure some one out there is more special than me ????

I didn't know they could be claimed back?

Yes...I got 22k deposited into my bank, but i didn't know that i could have kept paying the 750 Bht/Mth to stay in the Thai SS System, which i would have done, there are many things that Expats are probably entitled to,but nobody informs them about you would think organisations like the Pattaya Expats Club would/should know these things, and keep lòcal Expats up to speed with them.

Because of this precedent, there is no chance that insurance companies
will also adjust their policies and consequently their prices for foreigners.
I Think it's a normal reaction. An expat is now legally charged x number of times more.
