Sandbox Insurance for 80 Year Olds

Featured Replies

There is no such thing as a sandbox insurance.

You may need an insurance to get a visa, depending on which visa you want. This kind of insurance can be difficult to get at your age.

You need a COE to enter Thailand and in order to get that you need a Covid insurance. You can get one here:

https://covid19.tgia.org/

The age limit is 99 years; thus, not a problem for you.

Thanks. I think that is what I'm looking for.

Maybe it's not what I'm looking for! In that link, there are the insurance companies with the 75 year old age limit.

“ For Visa type : Non-O (Retirement), Long Stay O-A, O-X , STV , a separate Health Insurance Policy is required. The limit sum insured for In-Patient is not less than THB 400,000 and for Out-Patient is not less than THB 40,000 ”

To apply the Online Health Policy, please click https://longstay.tgia.org

If you tell us:

which visa you will get

how long time you will stay in Thailand

which country you live in

then someone may be able to suggest an insurance for you.

Also, have you been to Thailand before, and did you have an insurance that time?
