Imagination is more important than knowledge.

Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.

Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.

Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.

If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.

No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.

Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous.

God does not play dice with the universe.

In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.

"Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime", Lavrentiy Beria, the most ruthless and longest-serving secret police chief in Joseph Stalin’s reign of terror in Russia and Eastern Europe, bragged that he could prove criminal conduct on anyone, even the innocent.

Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and if, which I do not for a moment believe, this island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

Winston Churchill

It is said that immediately after giving the speech, Churchill muttered to a colleague, "And we’ll fight them with the butt ends of broken beer bottles because that's bloody well all we've got!"
