Three get jail terms for smuggling Chinese into Vietnam

A woman and two men have received jail sentences for helping two Chinese nationals break into Vietnam in January.

 

A court in Hanoi on Friday sentenced Truong Thi Quyen, 35, a native of central Nghe An Province, to 30 months behind bars for "organizing illegal entry into Vietnam."

 

Her accomplices Nguyen Huu Trung, 32, and Nguyen Van Dung, 40, respectively got 15 months and one year in jail for the same charge.
