Will Immi require foreigners to prove vax?

will require for entry, as now in thailand and almost everywhere in the world.

Until the booster shots come out and be mandatory, then immigration will check if you updated your vaxx with no. 4/5/6/7/8/29/30. All planned for early next year already.

yes, should be law, for societal protection, no opting out, extend it to all vax, esp. for kids, no different to wearing seat belts or bike helmets.sensible limited exceptions of course.  break the law= penalties.

no vax or legal exemption ? stay home until vaxxed. no visitors. cant work from home= unemployed.

double vax or recent test is going to be required for domestic air travel now

I have no issues with non vaxed being allowed entry if they have insurance to cover their potential medical costs.

Slippery Slope?  Now double vaxed.  Next double vaxed with a booster.  Next triple vaxed with a booster. Next triple vaxed with a double boost.  A global Covid 19 Vaccination standard would help to avoid this muddled mess we have now.  But a globally accepted anything requires cooperation and that is now in very short supply.

Yes that is a real cocern fo aged with pre exisiting as the Thai list of approved firms may deem folks in their 90s etc uninsurable at any price, very important point and one to think about before burning bridges.

Ok what age do you think of kids high schhol under 18, under 1o etc and why ? They may not suffer but can transmit once mixing at school. Not sure anywhere is vaxxing toddlers under 4s ?

You raise an important issue about enforcement which is haphazard, a bike can be confisctaed, drunks jailed but unvaxxed kids?

RJ: my general point is that all kids must be protected from stupid parents and have by law all govt. recommended vax; polio, diptheria, MMR , Covid etc. Parents otherwisePenalized under Law.

I'd go along with it being required for entry into the country, at least for now. But not for extensions of stay. Vaccination is not a compulsory requirement within the country therefor it would discriminatory for immigration to insist on it.

Impediment to what? Life goes back to normal when you chose to live a normal life. I for example stopped caring about COVID about 12 months ago and so life is back to normal now. Take all the vaccines you want, COVID's not going away and everyone is still going to get infected.

Do any Thai insurance companies actually insure 90 year old farangs, and if they do, is the insurance actually worth it?

There isn't any scientific study to backup this fantasy.

Its a fact that people who are vaccinated spread up to 50% less covid. Its a fact that those who are vaccinated take up far less hosptital resources up to 10 times less.

 

You as an antivaxer uses Singapore and Israel to show that people who are vaccinated can still get covid but nobody denies that. Also its not so strange that if you have a high vaccination level that there then will be vaccinated people ending up in hospital. Its just a numbers game. If you got 80% who take the vaccine then its logical that there will also be more vaccinated who get infected then in a country where vaccination level is 20%. So using those countries is stupid. Also its now been accepted that booster shorts are needed. 

 

No its NOT fake news id say anyone who spreads 50% more is a super spreader. But in your selfish mind you only think about what you want not about the greater good. 

 

I hope it becomes mandatory at least it would help Thailand attract a better kind of tourists less fruitcakes. 

 

An article in the BBC quotes a US hospital worker who says she does not want a vaccine because of religious reasons saying god gave her a good working immune system so its gods choice. I really wonder how stupid people like that are. I mean (if you follow that reasoning) god also made bones and humans. So all damage and disease we get is gods will. So why are there hospitals and why would she work at one if health is gods bigger plan. Its so contradictory that she uses god for vaccines but not for the rest of medical stuff (as she works as a health worker). It shows the stupidity of antivaxxers and religious people.
