Bitcoin ETF's are coming and what are the ramifications

Featured Replies

Now that a bitcoin futures ETF is opening on the US exchange and other Bitcoin ETF are going to be approved by the SEC do you think the big financial players will be able to rig the price of bitcoin with their paper contracts which they have been successfully doing with the precious metals market to keep the price of precious metals suppressed through paper contract manipulation?

How do you rig the price of something that has no inherent value, beyond tulip bulb speculation.

There have been ETFs for gold for many years, and their value is the price of gold.

Of course institutional players will manipulate the markets, that's their business.   With a lot of cryptos it'll be even easier considering the relatively narrow floats involved.... not to mention how easily spooked (at least in the short term) the millennial/gen Z crypto base is in terms of price action.
