Police Readied for Truckers' Protest

Truckers stage rally to demand diesel price peg at 25 baht per litre

Bangkok warned of 0.40m rise in Chao Phraya River between October 23-30

Thailand’s Department of Public Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has notified the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to advise the city’s riverside residents to brace a rise in the level of the Chao Phraya River from this Saturday until October 30th.

New seamless travel through toll plazas on Motorway No 9 from October 29

Banks to return money to cardholders who encounter recent irregular transactions

BANGKOK (NNT) - Abnormal money deductions through accounts tied to people’s credit and debit cards have affected many card users this month, with banks having identified irregular transactions involving 10,700 cards so far. The Bank of Thailand said debit cardholders will have their money returned within 5 working days and banks will now implement verification steps for transactions involving very small amounts.

MPs to get booster shots before next ordinary session

฿130m ‘stolen’ from over 10,000 Thai bank accounts in just four days
