Talad Wat Chai - is it a goner?

Featured Replies

This market on Pattaya Tai, across from the big wat, 100 yards east of Fascino’s has been closed for six weeks or more. I asked a couple of street vendors at the front; they didn’t have any idea about reopening.  We used it for the veggies, a bit of a walk to other markets.

No idea on if/when reopening.

But yes, I was shocked to see it closed ... and its fifty or so traders just moved on ... I wonder where they all went. Just another sign of the devastation going on ...

Some vendors moved into the back soi. have to walk around block from main road. one veggie vendor inside before get to the market gates. one in small soi opposite to back of market. open air chicken vendor in that soi too - not for me.
