MarcelV
For that amount you could buy a new car of the same models. Edit: Never mind, you're looking for one.???? We have a Mazda 2 Sedan, bought last year and we're very content with it. Edited October 24, 2021 by MarcelV 1
Popular Post Andrew Dwyer
I had a Honda Jazz for 4 years, loved it, spacious and reliable, 1.5 engine . Very versatile, with the rear seats down gives you the biggest load capacity in its class. 6

I am attracted to Honda, the Jazz looks a little sporty and is a car that either my wife or I can drive. The load capacity sounds good as I occasionally have family visit us.
MrJ2U
My wife has a Honda Jazz. Surprisingly roomy, great gas mileage, and nimble. Hard to go wrong with a Honda or Toyota. Just make sure you have it checked out by an independent mechanic. Lots of deals with the pandemic tanking the economy. 2

It was our rental car in Thailand and while driving from Hua Hin to Rayong, didn't feel too much driver fatigue. Great on gas, too!

vinny41
as it is a family car I would look at what safety equipment is supplied as standard as there are some new cars sold today with only 2 airbags. Another model to consider is the Nissan Almera as news cars start from 499,000 although I prefer cars that the rear seats can fold flat such as the Yaris and the Jazz

LarrySR
Honda City has a hatchback model now and the remote start feature is nice to get the air conditioner running 10 minutes before driving off.

I have know of three guys who wanted to save 200,000 baht, all odometers rolled back, one was in a bad accident and was repaired and he didn't know it, another blew the motor 3 months later, they all thought that they were buying two year old cars with low kilometres, yes the cars were 2 years old, but the kilometres, who knows and the one with the prang, how bad it was. Had my car for 6 years, paid 200,000 baht more than those guys, not a problem, but "up to you" as they say here. I say you get what you pay for, or do you, i.e. unless it's new. I'm just saying that doesn't take 10 minutes. Also, you should be careful when changing from very high temperatures to much lower ones. Once, the plexiglass of the speedometer cracked when I opened the AC full on right away. Oh, forgot to say to y'all, that car was a bloody Honda City. Same model that is in the OP's list of desired cars. Edited October 25, 2021 by MarcelV 2

jaideedave
We bought a new Yaris mid range a couple months ago for 600k. Used it for a few local trips and very happy with it. I considered 1-2 to yo with low mileage but decided the savings for used just wasn't worth it. You can't tell if the odo has been tampered with. When I was a teen my buddy's dad had a used car lot. Every couple months someone would come by and ask which cars they wanted done. He had several tools wrapped up in a cloth. Some looked like dental picks etc. This was decades before digital. LarrySR
If you're buying a second hand car, one can order a 'Blue Driver Scanner Tool' that plugs into the cars diagnostic port and read the data on your phone. $119.

No service record, walk away. 2
