Two local programmes have been granted funding. One is an initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, which was given 15.05 million Baht. The other was of Chulalongkorn University and the National Vaccine Institute, granted 5.05 million Baht. According to Government Spokesman Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana, Gen. Popular Post RafPinto
Thailand is a rich country. With the billions they made with tourism over decades, they have the moral obligation to help their own people and not looking for local and international donations whilst the leaders fill their pockets. Popular Post Cake Monster
Its nice to see Prayut sporting the latest in designer Camouflage Wear. And with the sickly look on that poor guys face, hes being told quite graphically what will happen to his Nuts if he doent produce a Vaccine very quickly.
Popular Post brommers
That is a pitiful amount. S Korea is investing well over a billion USD into vaccine development. But we all know that Prayuth lives in some kind of dream world and should not expect him to come up with anything practical. He is much happier to spend 100 million baht on the 45 minute appearance of two insignificant singers with whom he can take a selfie than ensure vaccine security for the nation.
xtrnuno41
OK , you want to spend 36 billion baht on submarines and just 20 million baht on vaccines. waiting on vaccine donations for free from Japan, already in? And what about Siam biotech then? Or they only produce and dont use vaccine in own country? O they get billions? Long live covid.
kensawadee
As pissy as that 20 million amount (For the job funded)... It will be a lot less, depending on how many grafter's hands it passes thru before arriving in the proper account.....
