I just came back from the parole office I have to report to for the crime I committed.
I call this a Bullshido post, same as Steven Seagal's Bullshido martial arts demonstrations. It's impossible to get an extension or do anything else at Jomtien without having a TM30. It's one of the required photocopy documents you MUST provide.- 1

Intoxicated tourist detained after Pattaya restaurant altercation
What data exactly ???... just the reports here which is not even qualitative information. You can no more accurately asses the frequency a Brit is involved in an 'incident' based on reports in this forum, than you can road fatality stats based on reports in this forum. You also completely overlook any other reports involving other nationalities because you focus solely on reports involving the British to confirm your bias. Now: IF you had a running tally: - British: xx reports over 12 months - Swiss: xx reports over 12 months - French: xx reports over 12 months Then there may be a very weak scientific basis to your opinion - however, you'd still be missing proportion (i.e. how many incidents per 10,000 tourist / foreigners of that nationality etc) If there are 50 reports from 500,000 Brits... thats 10 per 100,000 If there are 10 reports from 50,000 Swiss... thats 20 per 100,000 Of course - you wont take the time to establish any of this, you won't take the time to recognise that as this is an English Language Forum the sources and information are heavily bias towards reporting on Brits.... then there is the contagion effect, whereby IF reports on Brits draws more attention, further attention is attracted... We saw this last year when there were a successive number of reports about Swiss foreginers in Thailand and the contagion effect surface whereby even a minor issue regarding a Swiss person attracted a report. It does seem that there are many report about British, and the above covers reasons for this - In much the same reasons Reports in Bali will focus on poorly behaving Australians, and in Cancun reports will focus on poorly behaving Americans. Also in Thailand we see a number reports focusing on poorly behaving Chinese and Russians, and then the associated bigoted comments about them - thats just becase they are here in such high numbers, some of them are of course going to 'stuff up' and the racists and bigots like to jump in on these threads - but that doesn't mean all Chinese and all Russians are 'bad tourists'... which is your accusation against the Brits... You, MalcomB are bigot - and you have not posted anything which redeems you from this fact. -
