What makes the China vaccines better than Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech or Astra-Zeneca or the J&J Jansen vaccines?

Not MNRa

AZ is not mRNA either.

I've got a different problem.  Back in June & July I signed up for Expatvac for over 60s and got two Sinovac shots (there were no AZ shots available when I was finally was able to make an appointment).  Now, my school has informed me that we will be opening in-person classes on 7 December and any teachers who go Sinovac or Sinopharm shots will need a 3rd booster of any other kind of vaccine!

I know that many people are still awaiting their first or second shot, does anyone have a suggestion as to how foreigner can get a AZ or Pfizer booster in Bangkok?

Maybe that makes them…on the contrary…NOT as good as mRNA vaccines.   And perhaps that’s why some countries are not recognizing them.  Those countries must have good reason for not recognizing the Chinese and Russian Covid vaccines. One reason being higher efficacy of the mRNA vaccines. My family, relatives, friends, acquaintances, and myself, finished our two dose shots of Pfizer-BioNTech months ago now. And we’re all doing just fine.

This is laughable The numbers are extraordinarily lopsided in favor of vaccinations. It's incumbent upon you to show why the data is insufficient. Not to just assert it.

Clearly you didn't even bother to click on the link. If you had, you would have noted that this is a link to the actual report, unlike the previous link which was link to an article in Axios about the report..

I replied already. However, about 15-20 percent of population are denying any benefit of Covid vaccines. I suppose you are one of those?

If in the boonies the OP's friend could try at Amphur level.

After hearing nothing from Expatvac and being knocked back from previous walk ins i managed to get Sinovac the other day now all the community is welcome to go.

It will be followed by AZ and i used my pink id card, not passport to register.

I guess if he wanted they would give Sinovac x 2 but they wouldn't do AZ x 2 when i asked.

I have no idea what you're getting at.  "about 15-20 percent of population are denying any benefit of Covid vaccines." What does this mean? That 15-20 percent of the population doesn't believe in vaccination?

Given your tortured use of English, I deserve a pat on the back. But how is the fact that 15-20 percent of the population doesn't believe in vaccinations relevant to the statistics in this report? Do you think vaccinations are like Tinkerbell? You have to believe in them in order for them to work? What's your point?

I appreciate your excellent language skills.????

However, again..... it's not a qualified scientific research.

And if you think Covid vaccinations won't help, Nobody can help you. ????

It doesn't have to be scientific research. It's mining data from the State of Texas' healthcare system. What don't you understand about that?

Mate, if you can't understand what I replied to your nonsense, I can't help you.

If you Count all over 90 yo, with severe preconditions and vaccinate them, all of them might die.

So YOUR Research would find Out that all vaccinated people had died.

I am not very sure you'll understand.

Actually people who deny the efficiency of Covid vaccines are called Covidiots in some countries I know.

Of course this is not connected to your nonsense.

This guy knows ????

There are some farang who prefer inactivated virus vaccines instead of Pfizer. Watch the video below for the proof.

There are a few hospitals in Chiang Mai who offer Sinovac or Sinopharm.

If you had bothered to look at the report, you would know that it's broken down by age groups. In all age groups the unvaccinated had a higher mortality rate than did the vaccinated.

I guess you're reduced to offering dodgy and dated videos since actual scientific data shows that Sinovac and Sinopharm aren't as effective as the vaccines being produced by the West. Which is why countries that can afford to purchase vaccines have shifted to using these Western vaccines instead.

Pfizer is 39% effective according to a Israeli research.
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/23/delta-variant-pfizer-covid-vaccine-39percent-effective-in-israel-prevents-severe-illness.html

Exploding infection in UK does not at all convince me the propagandized effectiveness of AZ.

Thanks for the article based on a dated study. And even that study showed that the Pfizer vaccine was highly effective in preventing hospitalizations and death.

"However, the two-dose vaccine still works very well in preventing people from getting seriously sick, demonstrating 88% effectiveness against hospitalization and 91% effectiveness against severe illness, according to the Israeli data published Thursday."

https://www.timesofisrael.com/israeli-study-covid-booster-shots-92-effective-at-preventing-serious-illness/

Since then, boosters have now been widely administered in Israel.

Israeli study: COVID booster shots 92% effective at preventing serious illness

A large-scale Israeli study published Friday showed that a third booster shot was 92% effective in preventing serious illness compared to those who received only two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine.

The study conducted by Israel’s largest HMO Clalit Health Services, with funding from Harvard Medical School, was published in the Lancet medical journal based on a study of 728,321 people who received the third shot compared to a control group of a similar number who received only two shots at least five months before.

According to the report the third dose of 93% effective at preventing admission to the hospital, with the health service recording 231 instances of hospitalization for the two-dose group, compared to 29 for those who got a booster shot.

You are quoting western media's propagandized news.. No value in all the quotes. The only value is in your own assessment by reading exploding infection rate in highly vaccinated countries with Pfizer and AZ so much so that they have to give booster shot whose effectiveness wanes in few months only. What a scam.

So the reports were accurate from Western Media when they cited a 39% effectiveness but false otherwise? These news reports are about studies extracting data from the database of the Israeli Health system which includes virtually all Israelis. Crying fake news is the last resort of the desperate. And all the nations abandoning the current Chinese vaccines just reinforce how nonsensical your claim is.

You should try to get Pfizer-BioNTech or Astra Zeneca or Moderna or the J&J if they are available.  Higher effectiveness than the two Chinese vaccines.
Some other countries do not recognize the Chinese vaccines for entry.  Canada being one.
If you plan on traveling to other countries at some point, you may want a vaccine that is universally accepted by almost all countries.

But if you plan on just staying in South Asia, you may be okay with the China vaccines.    Up to you.

Some countries just do not accept Sinovac or Sinopharm.

Vaccines not currently accepted for entry to Canada.

  • Bharat Biotech (Covaxin, BBV152 A, B, C)
  • Cansino (Convidecia, Ad5-nCoV)
  • Gamaleya (Sputnik V, Gam-Covid-Vac)
  • Sinopharm (BBIBP-CorV, Sinopharm-Wuhan)
  • Sinovac (CoronaVac, PiCoVacc)
  • Vector Institute (EpiVacCorona)
  • Accepted COVID-19 vaccines in Canada

    • Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty, tozinameran, BNT162b2)
    • Moderna (Spikevax, mRNA-1273)
    • AstraZeneca/COVISHIELD (ChAdOx1-S, Vaxzevria, AZD1222)
    • Janssen/Johnson & Johnson (Ad26.COV2.S)

Thanks, but I have zero intention on ever travelling to that part of the world.

Who rules Texas? Dems?

More ridiculous questions.  Texas is one of the most conservative states in the USA. It voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020. Its Republican governor banned mask mandates, vaccination passports and barred employers from requiring employees to be vaccinated. Its 2 senators are both very conservative Republicans. Perhaps even you have heard of one of them: Ted Cruz. Its state legislature is overwhelmingly Republican.

Why not give this up already? You're just making your position look more and more ridiculous.

Ted Cruz…… excellent Senator.  Good man. Does his best to expose Fauci and stop the extremist socialist Democrats.
