They are trying to keep Pattaya desperate and failing to support the business here so they can come in and change the image. Sad we have less cases and they still won’t budge. Prayut obviously hates Pattaya and just waiting for its demise.

I dont subscribe to that, if they are targeting the nightlife they could do the same as Bangkok, allow restaurants to serve.

Quote..announcement, eateries which have passed the Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration’s standard of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports....

Yes we know, send them 20 photos of your establishment and wait for the government officials to peek though the door, then you may have an Amazing Thailand blah blah creditation, yawn

Why didn't they just say "normal" opening hours ...that's midnight yeah? So cut it an hour short and expect folk to be grateful. As for where I live nearby still zero booze anywhere anytime and yet our covid cases are miles behind Bangers ......All about the Benjamins once again.

Thats really a thorn in the eye for Pattaya, we almost have no infections anymore and still no alcohol in the restaurants?? So now we can see who handles the power of decissions in a dictatorship, the rich and famous???? how long more we can handle this?????

There are provinces with single digit new cases that still can't serve alcohol in restaurants
