For anyone living in Wongamat Beach, there's a new open mall being constructed across the street from the Centara Grand Mirage resort. It's supposed to open later this year and will contain restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, etc. With any luck, the grocery store will be good. And the area could use a few more restaurants.

Yes, most of us are on 12 monthly retirement extensions which of course is not the same as permanent residency, therefore I believe this will be the only stumbling block come 03 August or before. Copies of facial photo, retirement extension, confirmation of address and passport data are all straight forward. If this permanent residency is the only problem within their changes, they will lose many in Thailand and of course not forgetting the double Wise fees for those affected. As like you, direct pension transfer to your chosen Thai bank will be one of ways to go.
