Lots of stuff on YouTube saying the same as recent as yesterday so let’s be hopeful for the many people who rely on these for Xmas/new year income.

Plenty of people still seem to be having fun on the beaches in the evenings, large gatherings, music and booze.

Looks pretty relaxed with minimal restrictions re masks wearing etc.

Sure then  it must be true...... now only the PM or Chonburi governor  has to confirm this ......just a formality after You tube announcement .... ????

Oops what happened? It was really trending downward until we had today's spike upwards which fir a Saturday set of numbers is rare.  Hopefully it is just an anomaly. Or maybe because they are sequencing some more tests as more people are stepping forward with minor symptoms they found more cases.

The Authorities are probably upping the testing a bit to look for Omicron, and are finding the more numerous cases.

As has always been said by many " test and you will find "

Did he said that before Omicron or now recent after the latest variant appeared on world stage  ?  ????

Yesterday's live stream.

Certain bars maybe open today but NOT OFFICIAL,

I doubt if bars will be open till the New Year....possibly.

Sure the man in charge shall announce soon  he found some  (Sniffer I.O. on wheels on the hunt now  for missing arrived S-Africans ).... but that it is contained ...., but that the restrictions have to stay as they are to save the Phuket  sandbox trial  for the glory of whole Thailand ????

African tourist arrivals in Phuket found, face tests - Phuket News - ASEAN NOW - News, Travel & Forum

Meaning  working further on the family resort in coming .... ????

He may hope RTP  do not follow him on You Tube ...., as they are missing long time a lot of ....... and a " soi 6 bar bust control " could solve that ????

Unless they became all restaurants of course ????

For me the single most important thing is to get 95% of over 60's and the vulnerable vaccinated, and periodically  boosted. This dramatically reduces both hospitalizations and deaths. I think others should be advised to get vaccinated, particularly if overweight or unfit.  This being done, there really is no need for any limitations other than sensible precautions, such as mask wearing and hygiene.

Now, if omicron renders the vaccines ineffective, even partially so, we're really in the cart again.

Cutting edge Thai science is still using thermal imaging equipment to catch the readybrek glow virus carriers.

All for show, Omicron is in Thailand, it just hasn't been discovered because of their pathetic volume of sequencing.

Still a long way to go on all fronts as far as reaching the vaccination numbers they wanted here.  It is funny that folks you have indicated the numbers will be at the levels of 70% by years end and 100 million by the end of November have had to shift the goal posts again and again.  When you include the boosters and 4th shots given to get to the 100 million and 70% vaccination rate by playing the numbers game it does seem a little like grasping at straws.

As for the folks who have indicated that the High Season will be open and without restrictions just like many 100's of Thousands to millions will be headed to Thailand and the bars will be open, well they keep making statements but then has it really happened.  Many of us have said that it did not look like it would happen and I guess we have been right at least in our views.  The TAT Minister has been all over the board, and I believe he needs to stop with predictions and such.
