BANGKOK (NNT) - The Ministry of Public Health has announced that it will issue the e-Vaccine Passport for those who have been vaccinated in Thailand, free of charge.

 

Anyone who wishes to be issued the e-Vaccine Passport may make a request through the "International Certificate" menu in the Mor Prom application on their phone.

 

The QR code for the e-Vaccine Passport will be available within three working days after the request has been approved and can be scanned on the next day. The free service will be available between 1 and 31 December 2021.

Not true. There is an area in yellow where you can request a vaccine cert, but nothing there about a passport??

Scroll down. "International Certificate" is bottom left of the screen.

Yes, I mean that once you click onto that area there is nothing that says about requesting a vaccine PP, only a vaccine cert request (in yellow)

Yes, I am. The Mor Prom app shows both jabs. But the International Cert. icon leads nowhere.

Yep most likely, as it wouldn't make any sense to request a cert as the system must know that you already have a cert if you are logged in and registered already.

Strange, you should see a bright yellow box saying request for a covid 19 vaccine cert..

I entered 11th December 

I read any date after +3days

Use 9th Dec (3 working days from now). That was the first date that worked for me.

PP photo doesn;t upload, waste of time.

use the later date, I assume there is only certain spots available per day and the app doesn't refresh date in real time

Done it, I assume you don't have to upload PP photo.

Just tried again with 9th dec 2021 went through.

There's a photo on your passport page you uploaded

I actually meant PP copy, not just the photo, but like I say it would not upload, so sent it off without it and it was accepted.

 

The system already has your PP details, so hopefully not needed.

I understood that all sections with red asterisk had to be filled in and passport page was one

It would not upload. Usual sh!t. Like I say the system already has all our PP info, so not sure why it would need another copy.

This is confusing. So what's the difference between this and the QR code on our existing vaccination certificate?

 

If we already have the booklet vaccine passport, do we need to have a E-vaccine passport?

me personally would cancel ‘the booking’ and try to upload passport photo (maybe try from different mobile). Do they have your passport? Yes. Will the person who is filling out the certain part off process when issuing international certificate access to the system with all information? maybe.  Will the person working just deny application if need to make extra steps? Probably. Are bureaucrats in Thailand flexible about paperwork? Usually not But then again, it might be fine

Immigration also has all our non-O visa information, TM30, TM47 on their system and yet every time we still have to photocopy our visa pages etc for the yearly renewal.

 

Immigration do like extra unnecessary paperwork, unfortunately....
