A 20-year-old Myanmar woman meets a 77-year-old British uncle online.  They are now planning to get married, although they have never met in person before.

 

 David, 77, from Bath, England, and Jo, 20, from Myanmar, have been in a relationship for over 18 months and are now planning a wedding.  which the two have never met in real life..

It is obviously mutually beneficial.

 

I see no harm. Although, you could say they are both predators of a different kind, just preying on each other for sex and money. Like I said: mutually beneficial.

To be fair though, the old guy obviously wants companionship, otherwise why get married? Why not just try a different 20 year-old each night - I am sure he knows where to go for that.

 

It is likely her intentions that are more predatory here.

 

Poor guy could end up on the streets or worse (if she gets impatient).

Madness to marry someone online without meeting, trust me i did 100s of dates online in UK and it's always different when you meet. It probably will fall apart quickly

Agree, both of them might even have been married before.

She'll just have to get used to the feeling of old age creeping up on her each night..

 

He'll have to do young people things that he probably couldn't be bothered with .. or let her go out alone..

He could be well taken care of in his Twilight years, and she could be well set up for life
