If you refer to the Bridge players, was the crime not more to do with the possession of playing cards themselves? Total BS that was.

I didn't specifically think about farangs. My gf likes to play cards with her friends up country in one of their houses. And it happened more than once that the police raided the houses in the middle of the night - obviously not to enforce the law but to make extra money. What's the problem about a couple of people playing cards with their friends?

It will be like casino's all around the world, cheap drinks, cheap food and at the end of the night you walk out with empty pockets

“The prime minister and the government did not provide any policy or any special instruction on the issue since this is a matter for the legislative branch,”

Why take the blame if it doesn't pan out.

Once it proves successful then pat yourselves on the back.

I don't like casinos, I find them tacky & devoid of life, but cheap drinks, cheap food, walking out with empty pockets? Sounds like a wild night out for me ????
