Non B is expiring on the 3rd yet cannot renew yet as the owner of the company is abroad and cannot send the signed documents on time. What to do? Pay late fines or do the Covid Visa and will that affect the current work permit?

Best not to go on a overstay. If caught with one you can be deported and be banned from entering the country.

It seems your only option is to apply for a 60 day vivid 19 extension (it is not a visa) and the apply for the one year extension of stay.

Technically you cannot work until you get the correct extension of stay.

No sure about the work permit. You will need to ask the local work permit office about it.

Thanks Joe. He expects the paperwork to arrive on the 6 so he will be overstaying for two days but I wonder twill they still allow him to renew the visa or will he have to start from scratch?

If only there days late they will probably accept the application after he pays the 1500 baht overstay fine. Immigration is normally lenient if it is only a few days late (a week maybe).
