No not at al I was just trying to inarticulately explain  why  I felt the way I did,

I don't like likes' I am not looking for validation, Likes are  IMO the end of a conversation not the beginning.  ,

I Like quotes, as you did here, It is the beginning of a conversation , and perhaps I can learn something new.

Anyway thank you for taking the time to talk to me.

So you want interaction? I understand

I also would like interaction about songs I post (for example the Supermax one I posted earlier) that song I haven't listened to (according to my player) for over 2 years, but when I heard it again I felt joy!

I have no idea if someone else likes it, but in whole honesty (excuse my language) I dont F... care (music taste is very personal) but if someone does and as @CharlieH says "if it evokes memories" I am bloody happy with that!

Then you should had said something about it, I would had read what you said, and I would have listen to it to see if I could feel the same.

Not a bad tune, it has a feel good quality to it.  it does not have the same positive associations for me as it does for you  but not a bad tune. Easy to get into a groove. combine that with some positive associations you have with it ,and I can see why it would make you feel good.   It reminds me a little bit of low rider by war.

But Cheech & Chong have ruined for me, ???? every time I listen to this song I think of them,

Great song,  I have never watched Cheech & Chong and after your comment I doubt I will ????

Spill the Wine is also a great one by them and they were originally called Eric Burdon and War

(The Animals anyone ???? )

Cheech and Chong were stoner movies back in the early eighties. Very funny while under the influence of certain substances becoming legal now in certain:tongue:

jurisdictions.

When I hear low ride I cant get this image from my mind ????

I am ap early in the morning and have my Blue tooth noice canceling headphones on, waiting for everyone else to wake up.

A must IMO if you live in Thailand.

I am having a conversation with someone on line about issan music, and right now I am listening to the song below, full of eye candy, and because it had Chinese subtitles I was thinking , If they played that video in China it would be sure to revide the Chinese tourism to Thailand, at least with the Chinese guys. ????

You know what my wife says about these videoclips

Quote

They sell their p*ssy and not the music!!

????

If I would NOT live in Thailand I think I would like this song, but here you hear these Songs with BASS Thumping on the highest level that I seldom listen to Thai Music. (only what my player throws at me ???? (I have a lot in my collection (all Albums from Loso, Labanoon etc etc) and I even have music like this (Booran Booran  ???? ) (bought Cd's in Korat with 250 Songs like this)

The whole era with bands playing live in this clip, i.e. if you like that genre, although the word disco doesn't do it justice, I prefer the word Funk, R&B, and Hip Hop which bests describe the music as the word disco to me is more commercialised, and refers to stuff like Saturday Night Fever.

Great Clip thanks!

That clip features a lot of songs from that Album (SNF)

Stayin Alive - Bee Gees

If I can't have you - Yvonne Elliman

More then a Woman - Tavares

Disco Inferno - The Trammps

You Should Be Dancing - Bee Gees

Some real great songs on there.

The almost 11 minute version of Disco inferno is my favorite!!

A few favorites i have are Rammstein, Depeche mode and Nephew (Danish band)

Here is one with Rammstein.

One with depeche mode.

End of the line, by Travelling Wilburys.

Really sad watching it on U Tube as of the people on screen, 2 are dead, George Harrison and Tom Petty, and the empty chair was representing Roy Orbison.

Great song though.

The really great musicians of our age are passing away in record numbers.

Found this song buried deep in the archives.

Last time I heard it was approx 15-20 years ago (way before I moved to Thailand)

Disturbed made this cover of Land of confusion.

The lyrics fits the time we live in.
