Thailand pass what does this mean?

Right at the start it has this warning in red about pre flight PCR test, surely it's got to be either detected, positive or negative?

Positive tests are dealt with by the next sentence immediately below the one you quoted:

How is recovery proven? Presumably by another PCR test?

No, another PCR Test may show false positive due to dead virus still in the system for an extended period.  What is needed is a recovery certificate:

Thank you. Interesting. I created a thread on this forum about PCR false positive tests preventing travel and not one single person's including 'medical experts' mentioned a 'recovery certificate' as an option. It was even suggested that a person testing positive would have to wait three months before travelling! I wonder how you can get such a certificate and how much they  cost?

RT-PCR result must be not detected or negative

"Not detected" is more accurate than "negative", but they in practice mean the same thing. It is impossible to state with 100% certainty that you are not infected. All any test can show is that the swab analysed did not contain markers for the virus, at least in detectable amounts.

The part about the medical certificate of recovery from Covid-19 was not there in the earlier Thailand Pass rules.

You get this document from a doctor/hospital.

It needs to state date of contraction, and date of recovery.
