Hundreds of beachside businesses claim compensation over oil spill impacts

Rayong’s Muang district officials started receiving claims for compensation today (Tuesday), from business people affected by the recent oil spill, as health officials took blood and urine samples from 241 people involved in last week’s clean-up of the oil for tests.

Cabinet agrees in principle to P-move’s demand for land rights

Bangkok, 42 other provinces to get more parliamentary seats in new electoral allocations

Bangkok will have 3 more constituency seats than it had at the last general election and still has more seats than any other province. Trat, Ranong, Samut Songkhram and Sing Buri will just have one seat each, in line with the new parliamentary seat allocation just completed by the Election Commission (EC).
