Replace New Visa not to leave Thailand

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have a NON “B” stamp in my passport with Covid-19 Visa can stay in Thailand until March 25. After March, who have Non ‘B’ stamp  Immigrants will not grant another extension. Part of me, I don’t want to leave Thailand, to stay in Thailand, what kind of VISA for me to replace? The cheapest and fast way. If anyone has any recommendations and experience please share.

Thank you so much ????

You cannot apply for another visa in Thailand.

You may be able to apply for a extension of stay if you can qualify for one.

Perhaps enrolling in a University or some or some other formal school.

Or find a school to study a language (Thai and others) that can assist with applying for a extension of stay at a informa school.

Can you find another job that would allow you apply for a extension based upon working or teaching.

Retirement if 50 or over.

Getting married to a Thai.

List of extensions of stay and general requirements is here. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1890

boy that is a great link  ... how about a sticky  ?

Silly question maybe but why can you NOT extend a "non-B"? I was of the belief, that a "non-B" allows you to go for a work permit and a one-year visa?

I have just cleaned up this topic by removing a post and resultant replies to it.
