how strict is Thailand pass with the 15.000 baht minimum deposit?

Featured Replies

A friend booked a hotel and paid 50% deposit, but it amounts to 12.500 THB.

Thaipass website says minimum payment is 15.000 THB, how strict are they?

That does n't make sense, there's loads of 2 day packages available for less than 15K.

Where does it say that on Thai Pass?

Is this for T and G or 5/7 day quarantine?

I had a real rough time with this and the 7 day AQ 15,000 baht policy. The hotel (Siam Mandarina) had a 5,000 baht deposit policy. I did not notice this until I got the booking receipt. After much debate on whatsap - and they were not aware of this issue - I just agreed to pay the whole amount, about 22,000  and they confirmed within hours that all was paid. That said , nothing was added to my card until arrival at the hotel, though the booking receipt stated 'paid in full' , was excepted within an hour on thai pass

This is a bit off topic, but I was filling out the Thailand pass and it asks you for your permanent address outside of Thailand. What do you put if you don't have any address outside of Thailand, and you can't leave it blank.

You could use the address for a friend or family member when you complete the application.

I just put the hotel where I will be staying. Did it last time and it worked.

My passport does not have my address on it. Some countries might have it but not all of them.

As I wrote before he could put a friend's or family member's address on the Thailand Pass application.
