Siam Rath posted a video of some of the action of the Crime Suppression Division central branch after the murder of a man mixed up in drugs at the end of January.

 

It was all under the banner of "Khaa Thuang Ngern Yaa Narok" this refers to murder in a case where the assailants were going after a debt for Ya Ba or ice (crystal meth).

Suspected of masterminding the murder is a man called Sommai. 

 

Murdered in Trang, southern Thailand on January 29th was 48 year old Suchart or "Poo" who was watering his trees at the time. 

 

The assailant or assailants arrived in a Vios.

The police action was spread across Trang, Phuket and Bangkok where 14 places were targeted resulting in 8 arrests, the seizure of four guns, 54 rounds of ammunition, 262 Ya Ba and 0.79 grams of ice. 

 

Various assets were also seized.

 

Siam Rath's article - essentially PR for the RTP as much as news - included the name of fourteen police officers involved in the raids.

That's no way to go out, with only one hand he was almost defenseless.

that seems like a mistake, hope their families are safe

...at least the drug cartel scene in Thailand is nothing like Central/South America..long may it continue.

 

Never felt under danger in Thailand day-or-night.
