"Poh Teck Tung" to the rescue! This time they rescue a cat impaled on spikes

The Poh Teck Tung rescue foundation responded with an unusual job.

 

Saving a cat.

 

The organisation has for years raced around the Thai capital Bangkok picking up dead bodies and trasporting accident victims to hospital. 

 

This time a member of the public called them after noticing a tomcat was impaled on an anti-burglar spike that had gone through both its back legs. 

 

It was miaowing in agony.

It happened on the second floor of four story business premises on the Rathanathibet Road near the Khaerai intersection in Nonthaburi, north of Bangkok.

 

Poh Teck Tung managed to cut the spike off and transport the injured feline to a vets in Pak Kret.

 

From the state of the animal it was reckoned to have been impaled there for one to two days, reported 77kaoded.
