I will be returning to Thailand in late April and want to go the Philippine's on same day as returning.    If I buy my BKK -Manila ticket prior to leaving uk, can I remain air side BKK and not have tohave Thailand Pass?    I have already bought my LHR - BKK ticket.

If you buy 1 LHR - BKK ticket and then 1 BKK - MNL ticket, you'll get 2 (two) independent tickets, meaning you'll have to do 1 check-in @ LHR (LHR - BKK flight) & 1 check-in @ BKK (BKK - MNL flight).

Therefore, you'll have to go through immigration services & collect your luggage @ BKK.

If you have 1 ticket LHR - BKK - MNL (same airline or within the same alliance), you'll do 1 check-in @ LHR for your whole journey and your checked-in luggage will follow you.

In this case, you'll stay "airside" @ BKK
