Do they stop heart attacks and strokes?

.Heart-disease risk soars after COVID — even with a mild case

Even a mild case of COVID-19 can increase a person’s risk of cardiovascular problems for at least a year after diagnosis, a new study1 shows. Researchers found that rates of many conditions, such as heart failure and stroke, were substantially higher in people who had recovered from COVID-19 than in similar people who hadn’t had the disease.

What’s more, the risk was elevated even for those who were under 65 years of age and lacked risk factors, such as obesity or diabetes.

Not much help sitting in a different area on the plane as all on board share the same air .

One person infected with tuberculosis has infected many on a passenger plane on many occasions in the past .

Best option is to stay at home

Just trawling through some UK travel insurance quotes and was quite surprised to see this new exclusion popping up on several providers Ts&Cs:

If this no vax/no cover ethos gains traction in the industry then wont be many non vax'd boarding flights to Thailand any how

Looks like being unvaccinated could also have an impact on life insurance:

Life insurance companies have the freedom to charge different premiums based on risk factors that predict mortality. Purchasing a life insurance policy often entails a health status check or medical exam, and asking for vaccination status is not banned.

I think you'll find a close to 100% vaccination rate among pilots. Scared to fly now? ????

Many pilots lost thier jobs for refusing to have the jab

One military doctor warned about the problems vaccinated pilots could face. Scared to fly now?

She's a low level military doctor nurse. The risk she quotes is well known and very minimal, especially compared to the risk from covid itself. Airliners have two pilots for this sort of thing

Myocarditis: COVID-19 is a much bigger risk to the heart than vaccination

Myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination is rare and the risk is much smaller than the risks of cardiac injury linked to COVID-19 itself.

Based on a study out of Israel, the risk of post-vaccine myocarditis is 2.13 cases per 100,000 vaccinated, which is within the range usually seen in the general population. This study is consistent with others in the United States and Israel which put the overall incidence of post-vaccine myocarditis between 0.3 and five cases per 100,000 people.

The Oxford study from the link in the article. Mmmm

We estimated an extra two (95% confidence interval (CI) 0, 3), one (95% CI 0, 2) and six (95% CI 2,  myocarditis events per 1 million people vaccinated with ChAdOx1, BNT162b2 and mRNA-1273, respectively, in the 28 days following a first dose and an extra ten (95% CI 7, 11) myocarditis events per 1 million vaccinated in the 28 days after a second dose of mRNA-1273.

This compares with an extra 40 (95% CI 38, 41) myocarditis events per 1 million patients in the 28 days following a SARS-CoV-2 positive test.

And in recent news NHS England are advertising new positions for vaccine injury officers to deal with claims from covid vaccines.

I agree. Unjabbed people should be placed in first class to protect them from being infected by those who have been queuing for their jabs but can still spread the virus.

I think people who pay for premium should have dedicated air systems up front that ensure no air from the hoi-polio at the back reaches them.. who cares what happens to them back there... oiks.!

PS. Not serious US guys!

Regarding the extremely rare myocarditis issue with vaccines, others have already addressed your comment above, including that the risks of COVID are greater than those side effect risks from the vaccine.

And now there's evidence that even the original vaccine risk claims, after further investigation, actually have been overblown:

Feb 04, 2022

"Today during a meeting of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)...

The meeting included new discussion of myocarditis risks in recipients of mRNA vaccines. The CDC's Tom Shimabukuro, MD, MPH, shared that there have been 13 deaths following mRNA vaccination from myocarditis in the United States, but upon investigation, none have been deemed to be caused by vaccination.

Most myocarditis cases following mRNA vaccine were fully resolved within 90 days of diagnosis, with patients saying the condition had no impact on their quality of life, and most cases were classified as mild according to clinicians."

https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspective/2022/02/acip-fully-recommends-spikevax-cdc-expands-wastewater-surveillance

Just because something A happens after you've done something B, doesn't mean that B was the automatically cause of it.  And in these cases, they determined it wasn't.

Not sure why the unvaccinated would be upset, they think there is no difference being unvaccinated, so they should have no issue sitting together.

All of a sudden they too don’t want to sit with the unvaccinated haha irony!
