clivebaxter
Depends on airline and where you are going. Thailand does not have any requirements as fa as I know. Some airlines want pcr test, some dont. Same with destination countries
CharlieH
Might help if you stated where you are going and by what airline. May be someone can give better indication for that specific journey.

From/to and transit if any (as mentioned in the quoted text). Etihad means transit through Abu Dhabi and this might be the reason for the requirement. Non stop flights have an extra charm at these times. A mate just returned to Germany via Istanbul (Turkish Airlines) and no mention of another PCR test. This regulation might be a reason why I find dubai airport crowded, with passengers switching from etihad to emirates and saving themselves $50 on each test and inconvenience of delayed travel, including forced hospitalisation in thailand or elsewhere. Emirates would even accept passenger with a positive test, if had recovered for over 14 days from the first positive Edited February 20, 2022 by internationalism

The PCR test is only required for the destination country.
internationalism
vax certificates are mandatory to travel anywhere, even domestic travel. Transit is easy anywhere, with an exception of singapore. The best website for checking intenarional travel details is https://apply.joinsherpa.com/travel-restrictions
