The GLiSDiBs are six months late BTW. They were first announced for delivery in the summer 2023... I don't know the reasons for the delay. Boeing is co-building them with SAAB - oh well, at least they can't loose doors and I hope SAAB built the guidance system.

Ukraine 'hits Russian missile boat Ivanovets in Black Sea'

Ukrainian forces say they have destroyed a Russian missile boat from the Black Sea Fleet in a special operation off Russian-occupied Crimea.

The Ivanovets - a small warship - received "direct hits to the hull" overnight, after which it sank, military intelligence said.

It has released video footage that purports to show the moment of impact, followed by a big explosion.

Continuing discussion in western and Ukrainian media about the feud that has opened up between President Zelenskiy and his hugely popular and respected army chief Zalunhyi. Zalunhyi has gone public to face him down. There was some of that on show during the Hamas 7/10 attack on Israel.

Subsequently, all (or almost all) of the relevant tanks/vehicles were fitted with a sort of cage/net like addition on top of the hatch. A bomb dropped like that could still do some damage, but not that easy anymore. Expect these would become standard world wide as armies catch up. Maybe a business opportunity for some aspiring, innovative welders.

Yes if you look at what is going on in a lot of cities in russia you will see that infra structure and heating and water supplies are in shambles.

No people left to do the fixing and they will never return because putin offered them to his cause.

What putin did to have the Ukrainian sit in the cold without water and electricity in the winter last year he is now gifting his own people.

Most of those systems were already in need of over hauling but the way it is going now it will take many years before things will get better.
