Football Final

Just heard that the Champions League final has been moved from St Petersburg to Paris. Why do they not wait until they know which teams are in the final and then decide instead of last year's farce when two English teams, and all their fans had to travel. Stupid.

The 2 English teams last year only had to travel to Portugal - The other all English final was held in Spain.

 

On the 21st May 2008, we had to travel all the way to Moscow for the United / Rent boys Champions League Final.

Why would you want to have it in the country the finalists are from? Half the fun is travelling. My trip to Kyiv for the 2018 final was one of the best of my life - even though we lost! Made a whole week of it and a lot of stories from that trip. Then Madrid for 2019 against Spurs. Another fantastic time.  Both times I've even bumped into people I haven't seen since the 1980s. Much better than playing at Wembley and having to put up with a visit to London.
