Thailand to open COVID-19 Acute Respiratory Infection clinics on March 1st

COVID-19 patients in Thailand, who are asymptomatic or have only mild symptoms, will be able to access medical services at Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) clinics, in addition to home and community isolation facilities, from March 1st, according to Public Health Permanent Secretary Dr.Kiattibhoom Vongrachit Saturday.

Thailand’s Rural Doctor Society complains of serious Favipiravir shortage

The Rural Doctor Society (RDS) is complaining of a serious shortage of anti-viral Favipiravir medicine, to the extent that several hospitals have restricted its distribution to COVID-19 patients, except to those who are over 80.

Arrest warrants issued for owner and driver of speed boat from which Thai actress fell

The Nonthaburi provincial court has issued warrants for the arrests of the owner and the driver of the speed boat from which TV actress Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong fell into the Chao Phraya River and drowned.

Government Says Free COVID Treatments Still Available in All Areas

Government Cloud System Accelerated to Support Digital Economy Drive

Additional Treatment Pathway for COVID Outpatients Starting March 1

Thai Ministry of Public Health poll claims 60 percent of Thais still afraid of Covid-19

Thailand-  The Ministry of Public Health revealed today, February 27th, 2022, that according to a recent “Hygiene Poll”, sixty percent of Thais that participated in the poll are still afraid of Covid-19.

Drowned Thai actress’s manager and a friend questioned by police

Two women, who were on board the speed boat from which TV actress Nida Patcharaveerapong, aka “Tangmo”, fell into the Chao Phraya River and drowned, reported today (Sunday) to Nonthaburi’s Muang district police for questioning.

Fishermen to rally at Map Ta Phut on Monday seeking compensation over oil spills

Small-scale fishermen in Thailand’s eastern province of Rayong are to rally at the Map Ta Phut industrial estate today (Monday), to demand compensation from Star Petroleum Refining (SPRC), which is being blamed for oil spills in the seas off the province on January 25th and February 10th.
